This recipe brings together the rich flavors of roasted potatoes and the vibrant heat of JAMACUCO Salsa Picante, offering a delightful twist on a traditional Spanish favorite. Perfect as an appetizer or a side dish, these Spicy Patatas Bravas are sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup JAMACUCO Salsa Picante
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potatoes:
    • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • In a large bowl, toss the potato cubes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
    • Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Prepare the Spicy Sauce:
    • While the potatoes are baking, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Combine and Serve:
    • Once the potatoes are done, transfer them to a serving dish.

    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
