Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

For the JAMACUCO Chili Honey Glaze:

  • 4 tablespoons JAMACUCO Salsa Picante
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until well coated.
  3. Bake the wings: Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine JAMACUCO Salsa Picante, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and ginger. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Coat the wings: Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the spicy honey glaze until fully coated.
  6. Serve & enjoy: Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, or green onions. Serve immediately with lime wedges and a side of ranch or blue cheese dip!
