Ingredients:
- 1 kg of chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
For the JAMACUCO Chili Honey Glaze:
- 4 tablespoons JAMACUCO Salsa Picante
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until well coated.
- Bake the wings: Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine JAMACUCO Salsa Picante, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and ginger. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Coat the wings: Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the spicy honey glaze until fully coated.
- Serve & enjoy: Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, or green onions. Serve immediately with lime wedges and a side of ranch or blue cheese dip!
